Another Smart Winner Bred and Sold by Torryburn Stud

Robert Heathcote knows a thing or two about a Mossman having trained $7million earner Buffering and the talented Group III winner Hopfgarten, so it’s no surprise he’s getting good results with progressive Mossman four year-old Privlaka, who scored easily at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Resuming from a spell after being competitive in stakes races over the Brisbane Winter Carnival, Privlaka scored over 1000 metres by three-quarters of a length as favourite.

A $130,000 Inglis Easter Session II purchase for astute agent Paul Willetts from the Torryburn Stud draft, Privlaka has won four of 13 starts earning nearly $170,000 in prizemoney

He was bred by Torryburn and is a half-brother to smart Melbourne metropolitan winner Face Forward being the third winner from Endearment.

A grand-daughter of champion US filly Tappiano by Danehill (USA), Endearment has a yearling colt by Privlaka’s sire Mossman and was covered last spring by Shooting to Win.
