Blossoms Blooms in Autumn

Outstanding 4 year old mare Dixie Blossoms is home at Torryburn (pictured on arrival) after an impressive preparation over the Autumn Carnival for trainer Ron Quinton and owners Alan & Lisa Osburg.

Perfectly prepared in time for her first start back in February, the daughter of Street Sense (USA) ran third in the G3 Triscay Stakes and followed up two weeks later to win the G2 Guy Walter Stakes.  This was at the start as what will be known as one of the wettest Sydney Autumns on record but the Heavy 10 track that day didn't worry Dixie Blossoms who backed up to claim more black type with third placings in the G2 Emancipation Stakes and the G1 Queen of the Turf.

She is no doubt Queen of Torryburn at the moment and is enjoying some downtime in the paddock with Red Hearts who broke her maiden on 25 March at the ATC meeting at Newcastle.
