Diddums Home For Spell

Diddums arrived home to Torryburn this week after an outstanding Autumn Carnival

The Gerald Ryan trained Diddums (Snitzel x Raheights) made her presence felt at Randwick on Day 1 of the Championships on 1 April winning the G3 PJ Bell against a tough field. Originally second emergency for the race, Diddums crept into the field and blew them away with an outstanding and gutsy finish.

Joining her is the Anthony Cummings trained Memento who had a crack at the G1 Champagne Stakes last week at just her fifth start.  After becoming a little fractious before the race, Memento tried her best on the Heavy 8 track but just didn't handle the ground.  Jockey Kerrin McEvoy noted that she was a filly that will improve in the next 6 months.

The two girls are now out in the paddock enjoying the Autumn sun and lots of grass.
