Lonhro Sprinter Wins Again

Hong Kong , January 25 - Scoring his third win at Sha Tin on Sunday from just eight starts was promising Lonhro four year-old Why Why, a $220,000 Magic Millions purchase for the Hong Kong Jockey Club from the draft of Torryburn Stud, whose three-quarter brother is headed for Inglis Easter.

Now with Paul O’Sullivan, Why Why resumed from a 10 week let up to score over 1200 metres by a length and a half at his previous run and kept up the good work when stepping up to Class Three company to win by more than a length.

Bred by Torryburn Stud, Why Why is the second winner for smart metropolitan winning O’Reilly mare Tell Someone, a half-sister to stakes-winner Legsman and to the dam of Group I winner Brambles.

Tell Someone is also the grand-dam of Group II winner Traitor and has a yearling colt by Lonhro’s Group I winning son Denman that will be offered by Torryburn Stud as Lot 480 at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Tell Someone has another Denman colt foal to follow and was covered by Mossman last spring.
