Magic Maiden Mares

We are now set to head to Queensland with nine mares entered to the 2017 Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale including some exciting maiden mares which have recently retired.

We have some beautifully credentialed maiden mares including Zabeel mare Harlem Lady (pictured), a multiple winner in town of over $200K prizemoney. Harlem Lady's dam Jazella was herself a winner of two G3 races and multiple group and stakes placings in New Zealand.

Stable mates Ocean Spray (Fastnet Rock x Mist) and Chandana (High Chaparal x Bombay) will also look to commence their breeding careers and are offered as maiden mares with Chananda having had a start just last weekend running third in a field of 15 and increasing her prizemoney to $161,800. A handy mare, Chananda has royalty in her veins with third dam Picadilly Circus producing the likes of Fastnet Rock and Cirque du Soleil. City winner Ocean Spray is a correct type who has performed consistently from 10 starts and accumulated just under $70K in prizemoney. She is a three quarter sister to Royal Ascot Queens Vase (L) winner Aloft.
