Nisroc Wins Again for Bennelong Bloodstock

Sydney, November 28 - Promising Northern Meteor mare Nisroc scored her fourth win from eight starts when saluting at Warwick Farm on Friday for her breeders Bennelong Bloodstock.

Now with Ron Quinton after being transferred from Darren Smith earlier in the year, Nisroc snatched a long head win in the Benchmark 70 event over 1400 metres, taking her overall earnings to in excess of $113,000.

A model of consistency, Nisroc has missed a place just once in eight starts so it was probably a good thing when she passed in shy of a modest reserve when consigned by Torryburn Stud for Bennelong Bloodstock at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

Foaled and raised at Torryburn, Nisroc is one of two winners from South African Group II winner Dash for Gretna (SAfr), who was on-sold by Bennelong Bloodstock in 2011 for $20,000.

Interestingly, she had a two year-old by Stratum sell for $260,000 at the NZB Ready to Run Sale last week.
