Torryburn Sold Winner at Sunshine Coast

Sunshine Coast, January 4 – Opening her career with a tenacious debut win at the Sunshine Coast last Sunday was talented Snitzel filly Bukekayo, a $26,000 Inglis Classic Winter Book purchase from the Torryburn Stud draft.

Prepared by Chris Anderson, Bukekayo led throughout from a wide gate and fought on strongly to win the 1200 metre maiden by a short half head.

Bukekayo is the second winner from three foals to race from Loulou and is a full sister to this season’s promising two year-old Snitzel colt Skyclad, who was third on debut in a hot two year-old race at Rosehill in December won by Voilier with Magic Millions contender Zoutenant second.

Loulou is now owned by John Cornish and Stud Manager Reggie Blundell, has a yearling filly by Myboycharlie (IRE) and is in foal to Hinchinbrook.
